About AT Coffee House
Andy Taylor is the AT in AT Coffee House. A life-long sports fan, Andy found a passion for coffee that dramatically grew as a keen cyclist. He envisaged a coffee house that combined those two passions and left a successful career in high-tech to open AT Coffee House in La Jolla on January 1st, 2019.
Andy’s vision, whether you’re a cyclist or not, is a destination for everyone to enjoy handcrafted coffees, loose-leaf teas and local pastries in a service friendly atmosphere. And if you are a cyclist you can add one of Andy’s unique handmade AT Bike Jerseys to your own collection.
Our coffee drinks are handcrafted meaning we take great care to measure and time our espresso shots especially as the local marine climate can have an impact to how the coffee beans perform. Our teas are all steeped from loose-leaf and elegantly presented, hot or iced, on our in-house tea tray. And we have not met anyone that does not love our almond croissants, they are locally famous.
AT Coffee House has a great location next to Eddie V’s and Crab Catcher on Prospect St and is a mere couple of steps from the cove and the sea lions. We are located in a building that was built in the 1970’s and our unique vibe and coastal open space feel is complimented by a great patio area with ocean views; you could say we are a 'brew with a view.'
